Meet Ted
Ted isn't your typical bulldog.. in fact, we hear that a lot.
"Is he mixed with something?"
"What is he?"
Nope.. that's just Ted.
He isn't crossed with anything... he just happens to be wonderfully, unapologetically fluffy.
A bit like a unicorn, really - rare, special, and impossible not to love.
So it felt only right to create a world around him.
With his golden-reddish coat, big soft eyes, and face full of personality, Ted has a way of stopping people in his tracks - especially when we're out walking. He loves the attention... even if he pretends he doesn't with the occasional side-eye.
Ted is happiest when he's out exploring, sniffing absolutely everything, and taking in the fresh lakeland air, although, if he's being honest, he's just as happy curled up somewhere cosy, dreaming about his next snack.
He's not exactly built for climbing the highest peaks - he'd like you to think that he is - but after a short adventure, you'll usually find him deciding that a nap is the better option.
Like many of the best ideas, Teds story began quietly... one evening, with him laying at my feet. I started to imagine what he might be thinking, dreaming, and getting up to when we're not looking.
That's how Ted became more than just our dog.
He became a character. A storyteller. The heart of everything I create.
From magical adventures to everyday moments in the Lakes, Ted's world is full of imagination, warmth, and a little bit of mischief.
At home, he's part of our little family - with me, Mark and Joshua - and at the centre of it all, whether he's stealing the best spot on the sofa or making sure we never feel alone.
Ted might not realise it... but he's the inspiration behind it all.
